New Members & Supporters

We are always on the lookout for new members and supporters.

New Members
New members are always welcome.  If you are undecided about joining us, come down for a visit and meet a few of the members before you commit. We are a completely independent men’s shed and are only affiliated with the Australian Men’s Shed Association. There are no specific requirements in regard to skill or capability. We try to accommodate most requirements. The only real commitment a desire to participate, a joining fee (To cover insurance etc) and a local shed induction which will be discussed when you drop in for a chat. Look forward to catching up soon! We pull up for smoko around 10am so pop in for a cuppa and bickie. We are open Mon / Wed / Fri 08:30 – 12:00 midday

New Supporters
We are always on the lookout for new supporters too! Because we are a ‘stand alone’ men’s shed we are solely responsible for funding this shed. To date we have been fortunate in attaining government grants which has allowed us to buy much needed plant and equipment for the shed and it’s members. It is forecast that our outgoings (costs) will be in the order of $25,000 in our first year of operation. We have managed to keep the doors open through a number of shed and community activities. The community and Regional Council have been very generous with donations and paid work. Some supporters are committed to longer term support with ongoing work, materials or financial support. Our members also undertake repair and restoration jobs for walk in clients and we also manufacture a number of items for sale. All of these activities have afforded us the ability to soldier on.
